Hey all,I just wanted some insight on this before I put my foot in my mouth, which is always embarrassing. If you've already self-published a book, what is the proper protocol for sending that book to a large publisher if you'd like it to be picked up? Should you query first? Call first? Or simply send a copy of the book, it's promo materials (marketing plan, audience, etc.), and a query at once? Any ideas?
