First of all they called the white people "demons" like the chinese use to say gwai lohs and they also called them "illegal aliens".

This is what I'm talking about!
This is a more balancing mindset.

Wait, wait.
You know what?

I'm kinda hype.
I'm still kinda excited.

I saw the flick last night and I had a dream about it and I'm still real amped about it.

Lemme try to slow my roll.

James Cameron has yet again, pushed himself far ahead of the action director pack.

But before I can go into the look of the film with the fly IMAX 3-D glasses with little fireflies around you, I just gotta express how shocked I am at the fact that he made a feel good black movie for all people of color around the world that have to deal with white folks.

I'm am very surprised.

It's like he's saying "look, I know these devils and gwai lohs. here go a movie to expose them to the world."

I didn't really dig how far he was going waaaay back in the day when he used The Abyss to make a commentary on how white people was screwing the world over and the deep sea beings where about to use DEEP IMPACT style tidal waves to reboot the earth.

But after seeing AVATAR, I'm sure he's about as sick of the madness as people in south africa haiti, brazil and the congo are.
(Sometimes some of us in the States think this is a grand old party and whites are entitled to manifest destiny to usurp people's lands and resources)

But Jimmy Cameron was like f*c dat.
I'm tellin this story and I'm puttin it on blast.

Goin up in peoples homes lands and countries and tearing sh*t down and then declaring the people there that's fight back as "terrorists" or "insurgents"?

He even had a line in the flick where the commanding officer said "We'll use terror to fight these 'terrorists' ".

Classic.
Classic.

I am really in shock that he made this flick like he did.
Bless his heart.

All black children of the ghettos from south africa to haiti to north philly need to see this movie.

Now onto the effects.

You ain't never seen a movie like this in ya whole life.

First, I wish James Cameron would've directed the Transformers.
That's all I kept saying when I saw those robot things with the guns.

No lazy designs or fast micro edited shaky cam bullsh*t.

Clear lines.
Easily discernible.

Going to see this movie in 3-D was like going to an exhibit.
I'm goin to go see it again.
And again.

The Navi were people of color.
Very literally.

The land had all types bright blues greens. Lights. Red's. Yellows. And slow pans so you can take in the entire shot.

Big ass spaceships.
But the 3-D effects is what really put the film over the top.

I know George Lucas is mad he didn't wait to do the new star wars prequels.

Action upon action upon action.
Die hard general as the villian.

Crazy animals.
Chases.

In the tradition of ALIENS he stuck with shell artillery instead of lasers.
This is always a plus for grounding in reality for the battle sequences.

AVATAR is the best picture of the year.
of the decade.

Hands down.

I'll tell more later.
Just go see it.
