Black Science Fiction Society Logo Contest

Calling all artists: Black Science Fiction Society needs a new logo to go along with our motto, ”Home To Black Science Fiction”. Perhaps there's a skilled graphic designer out there who can help with a new rendition of the agency's circular afro motif.

Rules are simple: create a BSFS logo.
1. No rip-offs of existing logos
2. Submissions should be in 600 DPI
3. Don’t become bitter or hostile if your submission is not picked

Prizes for the competition include:

First prize: $100 and free (468X60) banner advertising on the site & email for the year
Second prize: Free (468X60) banner advertising on the site and email for the year
Third prize: Free (468X60) banner advertising on the site for the year

Submission details:

• Entries should be submitted in electronic format. We are looking for a logo that presents well in both print and electronic media.
• All submissions should be completed and saved as a PSD or PDF. A low resolution PDF file should also be sent for review.
• Entries should include the design with no identifying designer marks or affiliation.
• Designer identification should be included with the entry but should not be on the entry.
• Designer identification should include the designer’s name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number. Designer identification should also include the name and address of the institution, as well as the affiliation of the designer (student, faculty, staff, alumni, or retiree).

• All entries will be acknowledged upon receipt. (If you do not receive a reply, your submission was not received)

• All entries will become the property of Black Science Fiction Society

The contest starts January 25, 2011 and ends February 15, 2011. Interested parties should email the Administrator at: bsfs@thedigitalbrothers.com.
