I've heard that this "self-publishing agency" is charging folks $728 after advertising that their services are free -- including a $249 copyright fee.
And excuse me but when someone submits your copyright for you don't they own the rights to your publication? Like a publishing agency? Yep because they self your book for you -- for hefty fee.
And what do you wanna bet you're locked into a contract with them?
This isn't self-publishing it's vanity publishing -- hell it's highway robbery. And I'm putting them on blast. Writers need to stick together and folks need to know that you don't have to let folks rob you to get published.
I offer self publishing services starting at $35 http://immortalfantasynovels.com/
But even if you don't use me here's a mini breakdown:
copyright only costs $35 (online)
ISBN I believe is around $100 (online)
Self publishing with lulu, createspace & lightning source the last time I checked free.
Sisters and Brothers what say you?
