I just saw the Phantom, new show on the SyFy channel.... and it was actually good! A first! Has anyone else seen it?

I'm a serious person who likes to laugh. I'm so serious that i cannot write comedies. Can someone recommend a fiction comedic book featuring lead Black characters that are not buffoons? Black sidekicks do not count.
