So I get asked alot why I cosplay or as some would say...'costume perform' as not all cosplay involves dressing like an established iconic character, or any licensed character, and I always answer it's for the creative expression and joy of it all! I'm still improving my skills as a seamstress but since I was small I've always been involved in imagination trips! Plays, community theatre, I use to model, sing behind rock bands, I was on a show called the dance connection in DC, filmed at Howard University studios, so wearing costumes is a part of my life! I cosplay mainly star trek, renaissance, comics and I'm getting into steampunk and winged creature fantasy cosplay! So I'd like for folks to share why they cos and what plans they have for taking their cos to the next level! Below is myself as the Scarlet witch (avenger) and my friend Brian Gregory as Dr. Strange at last year's wizard world philly!
