The final installment of The Darkside Trilogy is on its way.

Editing of the manuscript is in its last stage, and cover art by Winston Blakely is shaping up well.

For those few of you who have read the first two installments of the trilogy I offer a peek into the conclusion of the trilogy, Confrontation.

It's been ten years since the events chronicled in Discovery and Conception, and an uneasy Earth has been wondering what may come next. In that intervening time the scientists of Earth have not managed to duplicate the technologies the black separatists demonstrated to the whole world.

And the fact that the entire planet knows that it was American blacks who, without the yoke of white interference, managed to create such scientific and technological advances known previously only in science fiction literature is both awe-inspiring and frightening.

The superpowers of Earth have plotted, planned and implemented their mission to further confront those who have turned their backs on their country of birth, and the rest of humanity.

The inevitable confrontation between Earth, and several thousand African Americans is a wildly entertaining story the likes of has never been seen in science fiction literature.

The conclusion of The Darkside Trilogy is just a respite in the saga of The Darkside Universe. There are four additional volumes coming, a second trilogy and a final volume winding up the story.
