I'm producing a 4 part series of 3 minute animated shorts tentatively titled "Hit or Stand".  

The story centers John "Blackjack" Brawley, a 'former' street fighter who transferred to a new school hoping to put his past behind him. Instead he finds himself in the middle of a turf war between Crown Academy's strongest fighters "The 4 Aces".  While confronting his opponents, John learns that there's more than meets the eyes going on at the private school.

Largely inspired by manga/anime like Rokudenashi Blues, Natsumi Crisis, and Tenjou Tenge, it will borrow various elements from action manga. There will be adult themes, but no explicit language, or nudity. 

Characters I'm looking for voices of in particular are

John(Male Lead/Protagonist)

Stacy(Female Lead)

XL(Main Antagonist)

Familiarity with anime is not a necessity.  I'm looking for enthusiastic individuals who have decent microphones available, since this project will be telecommuting.

As the infrastructure I have available is limited, there is no payment available for the project at this time.  It's an opportunity to gain some experience, do some resume building, and be involved in some "Afromation".

I'd like to have Black voice actors involved in this project, as this is the first independent animation of this length that I'm attempting.
