About Me:
Allyssa Jones a Boston-based composer, educator and performer. In demand as music clinician and presenter for nearly twenty years, her conducting credits include over a decade of performances as vocal music director at Boston Arts Academy, and appearances with the Boston Children’s Chorus and the MMEA-Northeast District Junior Festival Treble Chorus. A 2005 Surdna Fellow, Allyssa's artistic credits include five solo recordings, appearances throughout the Northeast and Midwest, and original music for Boston-area productions by Company One, Lyric Stage, OWLL, Boston Public Works, and Apollinaire Theatre Company. Notable projects include original scores for the film Knockaround Kids and two musicals currently in development.
