About Me:
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of the District of Columbia. I received my M.A. in English from University of Vermont in 1995, and my Ph.D. in English from the University of Connecticut in 2005. My areas of focus are Women’s Studies, African American/African Diaspora Literature, Pop Culture/Science Fiction, and 20th Century American Literature.
