Retired lower level manager with the state of NY. Grew up with a mom who was a science fiction FANATIC. I like stories which help expand my awareness and gets me to think "outside of the box", especially relating to culture and society. Too many scifi stories are about futuristic war and conflict. I'm always looking for stories which dcal with how people live, which creeds they live by, how their society operates, etc.
