About Me:
Hailing from Toms River, New Jersey, Darian attended Toms River North High School before accepting a full football scholarship to Rutgers University. He later transferred to Hampton University, where he majored in Political Science. In 2002, he achieved Free Agent status in the National Football League and had his first tryout with the New York Giants. He soon found a home on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster, and won a Super Bowl ring his very first year in the league. Darian is a retired seven-year veteran of the league, also having played Fullback for the Dallas Cowboys, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, and the New Orleans Saints. Darian launched MIIDmedia in 2012, a freelance graphic and multimedia design studio. MIIDmedia specializes in producing digital media and digital marketing solutions for small businesses and independent contractors. In 2010 Darian became the Chief Project Manager of the GridIron G.A.N.G. LLC, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to teaching youth life and social skills through physical fitness and athletic training. The GridIron Group creates flag football programs in conjunction with social advocacy groups and other former professional athletes around the country. Along with his duties for GridIron, Darian speaks at numerous youth camps, and charity events. Darian co-founded Twilight East Studios in 2003, a multimedia content creation studio with a focus in print, film and digital media. There Darian managed a 15 man staff of artists, writers, and graphic designers, producing various multimedia projects, including The National Triumph League, a story where superheroes are placed in professional sports settings. He is currently in school at Rutgers University, obtaining is his bachelor's degree in Journalism and Media Studies, with a focus in social media, graphic design and digital media. Darian is married to Rebecca, and the couple has three daughters, Damara, Darynn, and Daylin.
