About Me:
I'm a 30-something Black professional from Philadelphia. When I was learning to read, my father introduced me to Conan, Elric, and Mack Bolan the Executioner; from there I went on to make the acquaintances of C.S. Lewis, Lovecraft, Stephen King, and a hundred others. As I got older and started clumsily writing my own short stories and novels, I suddenly realized that while all these writers were amazing, only a few of them actually created characters that looked like me. My hope is that I will find writers, artists, and other sci-fi/fantasy enthusiasts here with whom I can share, learn, and evolve.
