About Me:
I was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and attended the Flint Public Schools. I received my B.A. at Pomona College in Claremont, California. An earthquake sent me back to the University Michigan where I received my M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. I have taught at the college level for 35 years. I have also been a Visiting Professor at Khartoum University in Sudan, a Fulbright Scholar at King Saud University in Saudi Arabia, and recently completed a Summer Fulbright Seminar in China. I have recently published my first novel "The President Is A Muslim?", a book that definitely falls into the category of "speculative fiction". Currently, I am working on my second novel.
