About Me:

I have loved many movies, tv shows,music and characters over the years featuring African Americans. As a child, my main interest was Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Jim Henson movies; so unfortunately...like many, the black programs that match my interest as a scifi/fantasy/writer/ monster maker were few or not there. Most of our shows were in the hood, or about the hood, or race projectts. Very Sad themes (even though they tried 2 make lite of it) Then once in a while they throw us a bone, when u get 2 see Eartha Kitt as Cat Woman or that delicious chocolate beauty Aurora on Star Trek. Then later find out James Earl Jones is the voice of Darth Vader.. Wow! I'd wake up Saturday morning rushing 2 he tv 2 see if Black Vulcan was going 2 be on Super friends. I am a writer, cartoonist, musician, aspiring film maker who would like 2 see some great changes made. Some people may dig on those TP films and black movies with Christian message views and themes or trying 2 get out the ghetto films.. and puleez..not another slave movie so close 2 the other 1 that just came out. I know we are more than that! We are more than 1 type of black person or 1 person's belief of who we are. We have many stories. Good 1's!!!! A lot of these studio execs act as if the people of the their skin color, are the only 1's since the beginning of time who have dreamed of what's beyond the clouds when they look 2 the sky. People of color dream 2! Sure, those who want 2 make those same toned,poorly written black love/romance films 4 the 8,869th time.. u can do that. But we need balance in our films, tv and music. We are a talented people and still even in this day, the chains are on us. On our creative mind and abilities.
