About Me:
I'm a Graphic Artist employed by a Federal Agency in Washington, DC. I have a BFA in Visual Arts from University of Maryland, Baltimore County. It was there that I was introduced to Photoshop(version 1.0.7) and began a love affair with that program. Back then, I never considered it as a tool to create original artwork from scratch, I was very much into manipulating photographs. Once version 3 introduced layers and computers became more powerful and less expensive, making the transition from traditional to digital art became more attractive to me. Now, after spending a few years experimenting with other programs, I have settled into a process and style that I'm satisfied with and can call my own.
When I'm on my time, I do pin ups featuring characters that have been trapped in my head for years and occasionally characters for other people who may have something that I find interesting to work on.
Right now I'm working on a few Sci Fi covers for some independent publishers and a graphic novel featuring my own character, The Black Angel. I'm also putting together a Art/Pinup book of my work, which will have a few step by step tutorials.
