A avid fan of science fiction at times when most Black people would never even ADMIT to liking or reading Sci-Fi. It was close to Bennie's reality in the Deep Space Nine classic episode, beyond the farthest Star, but NOT quite that bad. Star Trek formally kindled it George Schulyer who wrote "Black Empire" in the 30's deepened it for me. (Dr. Belserius indeed)
