About Me:
I'm a lifelong science fiction fan and Professor of Science Fiction Studies in the School of Literature, Communication, and Culture at Georgia Tech. My research
interests include science fiction as cultural history, feminist science fiction and Afrofuturism. I have received the the Pioneer Award for Outstanding Science Fiction Scholarship and I currently serve as Executive Officer for the Science Fiction Research Association.
