About Me:
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, M Jayson Graham graduated from Howard University in 2006 with a BFA in Theatre Arts. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Los Angeles, California where he learned the format for television and film scripts. He worked for several independent production companies developing pilots, series bibles, and feature-length scripts. It was during this time that he created his "world-building" or narrative development process. In 2012, M Jayson moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he was hired as a staff writer for the Upyri web series. In the last five years, he has used his narrative development process to create a master document called the Omnibus. The Omnibus is a historical timeline with major characters and organizations. This document allows Upyri LLC to create transmedia properties with a shared continuity similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. M Jayson currently teaches narrative development workshops that were featured in 2017 at Onyxcon, Dreamhack Atlanta, and CONjuration Con. His company, MJG Story Creation LLC, is producing an Entrepreneurial Mentorship Program. The focus of the program is to take individuals and help them develop a group of businesses.
