About Me:
After ridding myself of a creatively unfulfilling engineering career (and taking a few filler jobs in between) I was inspired to return to school a few years later ("...my kinda town, Chicago is...") and unleash my creative juices in my new career, digital animation. I LOVE IT!!! Some of the cool stuff I'd like to explore careerwise includes animated film title sequences, science animation, digital installation art and performance art as well as comic animation and animated shorts for festivals. I’d also like to collaborate with fine artists of various genres to animate some of their works. I am the owner of Aqueduct Media Corp comprised of two divisions, Aqueduct Social Media and Aqueduct Digital Media. The social media company creates web and blog sites along with profiles of the most relevant social media platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google +. We also setup marketing and measurement tools like YouTube, Eventbrite and Google Analytics for your personal and corporate brands. My grad school work so far covers these subjects: ANIMATION I, 3D MODELING, 3D ANIMATION,DIGITAL SOUND DESIGN, EDITING I, 3D CHARACTER ANIMATION, ANIMATION PRODUCTION, 3D TEXTURING AND LIGHTING, VISUAL STYLIZATION IN 3D ANIMATION, ACTING FOR ANIMATORS, THE BIG PICTURE (THE BUSINESS OF ENTERTAINMENT), ANIMATION MECHANICS, ANIMATION GRADUATE SEMINAR, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR WORKSHOP I'm taking these classes now during the current Winter 2012 quarter: ANIMATION STYLES & TECHNIQUES (a grad school level history of animation with animated short film projects) and VISUAL STORYTELLING (storyboarding) I'll be taking these during the upcoming Spring 2012 quarter: COLLABORATIVE SHORT ANIMATED FILM and CINEMA, ANIMATION AND ART IN CONTEMPORARY PRACTICE Specialties Digital animator experienced with software packages such as AutoDesk MAYA for 3D modeling and animation, Adobe Photoshop, AfterEffects, Flash and Illustrator for animation production and special effects compositing, film editing, Digidesign ProTools for sound design and both Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier Pro for digital film editing.
