Author Biography Oloye Karade has served as priest and author on the subject of African Traditional Religions for over three decades. Within those years, he has published two non-fiction texts on African religions with Samuel Weiser: The Handbook of Yoruba Religious Concepts © 1992, was considered a best seller and was published overseas in three languages (other than English). The book is still in print. Ojise © 1994, was also published and it is still in print. He also published with Athelia-Henrietta Press out of Brooklyn, NY. The title is Imoye © 1996. This work sold well in the Caribbean and is still in print. He has had the opportunity to do book signings mainly in Newark, NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC; Denver, CO; and Seattle, WA. A number of articles have been written about him or have quoted him via interviews to include a write-up in the New York Times.
