I am a cognitive scientist. I like to frame problems, design experiments to address those problems, and share my findings with scientists and members of other discourse communities. I like to ride my bike, fly fish (I picked that up from my grandfather in Alaska), and organize sound. I COLLECT books and I'm proud of my growing library. Critical thought is of high value to me. I am offended by those who intentionally embrace ignorance.
