Ronald Paul Woods II is a San Diego based artist who serves a niche that has been overlooked, or has been misrepresented for far too many years. Which are Original characters of color. He excels at depicting minority women, and women in general, in a positive heroic light. He Specializes in Science Fiction, anime, and comic themed characters. Mr. Woods’s designs showcases ethnic diversity, and all the different kinds of beauty that goes along with it. Mr. Woods character designs displays his unique style and vision, as well as their, originality. His characters are always depicted as strong, positive, and heroic. He also bring this treatment to establish characters yet in his own unique style. Mr. Woods’s vehicle designs are just as innovative, and original. Everything from Starships, and Aerospace craft to robots, and Mecha. Self-thought his art work has an unpolished and retro style. Mr. Woods served proudly in the United States Navy serving on two ships during the 90’s, and worked on U.S. Navy vessels from 1997 to 2014. This experience shows in some of his designs. As well as growing up near the Kenney Space Center during the height of the Space Shuttle Era in Florida. While serving in the United States Navy he has visited 23 countries, and was station in Japan for two years. Due to his father’s work, his lived with his parents on Andros Island in the Bahamas for 4 years in the late 70s as child. This rich, and colorful background has translated well into his characters and Art.
