    About Me:

Steve is a natural born Puerto Rican musician. His solid Bronx back-beat has powered several name acts such as Sara Dash: Labelle fame.(Lady Marmalade), Linda Hopkins and Kid Creole and the Coconuts. In 1980, Steve, a rare singing drummer, joined Arista recording artist GQ, whose three 1 hit singles include the now classic dance hit “Disco Nights", "I DO Love You" "Sitting In The Park". Steve received both gold and platinum albums for his work with GQ. Extensive world touring brought him to many large venues such as Soldiers Field in Chicago, Cobo Arena in Detroit, Giant Stadium in New Jersey, Madison Square Garden in NYC, and The Winter Splash Music Festival on the island of Jamaica. During that time he played with & shared the stage with many popular acts including Kool and the Gang, The Isley Brothers, Natalie Cole, and Phyllis Hyman. Steve possesses a large catalog of songs to his credit. He scored the music for the popular Nintendo video game “Major League Baseball with Ken Griffey Jr.” Steve also completed the musical score for the Off-Broadway play “RUS-H” which opened to rave reviews in NYC. in 2010 Steve composed the score for the off Broadway Play "Touchscape, An Emotional Striptease". His instincts, hard work, and constant energy have facilitated many musical projects throughout his career including SMI recording artists "Devoshun", Steve A’s Blockparty, Street Child, and MCA recording artist " Lori Rose and the Rocketeers". It was Steve’s intuitive vision that facilitated the recent return of Onroda MusicWorks Recording Artist "SEGUIDA NY Latin Rock" to the spotlight by signing a deal with MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL's "Major League Artist Series" on mlb.com.Entertainment.
