A fan of all things science fiction; I am very much interested in how non-whites approach the genre. This is especially relevant to me personally as I have a black daughter whom I adopted last year. Any positive exposure to black culture I can expose her to as she's growing up, as well as any demonstration that science fiction fandom is not just a 'white' thing as it's been traditionally portrayed, is greatly appreciated!
