About Me:
I am an American Book Award-winning novelist and screenwriter. I am best known for my series about African immortals that began with My Soul to Keep. My newest novel solo is entitled My Soul to Take. With Steven Barnes, I co-author the Devil's Wake YA horror series and the Tennyson Hardwick mystery series with Blair Underwood. Steve and I are currently co-producing a short film, Danger Word, based on our novel Devil's Wake.
