About Me:
Born in Newark, NJ, Monique Dupree (also known as The Original Gata) knew as a small child that she was meant to entertain. She started off as a child runway model for her uncle's company called "Rising Star Productions". As a teenager, she moved into various theatre productions, Including Ntozake Shange's, For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Dupree's first film experience didn't come until she was 14 on the set of Lean on Me. Although she was only background, she realized that she'd found her medium..FILM! Monique has not stopped kicking asses and taking names since that point. With 50 films under her belt already, she's showing no signs of stopping. Some of her film projects include: American Gangster, The Replacements, The Ten, Satan Hates You, Bachelor party in the bungalow of the damned, Bikini Bloodbath Christmas and many more. She's also no stranger to television, appearing on such shows as: Z Rock, Law & Order, The Tyra Banks Show & The Superagent. In addition to acting, Monique has had her hands full at home with 8 beautiful children who are homeschooled by her & her family. She's proof that you can be successful in work & home-life alike. On top of everything else, this feline vixen enjoys being in front of a 35mm camera, as an alternative model. She's been published in numerous magazines across the globe including, but not limited to: The Sirens of Cinema, Fangoria, The Spanish GQ magazine, Primera Linea, The Yo Magazine, The Autograph Collector & Sci-Fi espana.
