About Me:
I'm a black feminist writer of novels, plays, poetry, and stories for children; I'm a huge Octavia Butler fan, and was inspired to write a Kindred-like story for teens (A Wish After Midnight). I have an award-winning picture book, Bird, and am currently writing a novel driven by Afro-urban magic.
