I am a writer with some skills in computer graphic arts. For the past year, I am exploring creating a graphic magazine that features modern-day youngsters learning how to use ancient paranormal powers that will soon make them superheroes. I believe that in the ancient philosophy of extraordinary powers that these abilities come from within or at least beyond the normal realm of life. The upcoming heroes are not based on chemical accidents or beast related mutations or stumbling into some relic. The children are endowed with special abilities that come from special innate possibilities that lie within us all. I like to think that my perspective of supernatural abilities comes from comparative religious philosophies, Afro-centric cultural beliefs, and spiritual-based insight. The main scenes in the series are in a public housing complex.
