Long story short, my Solaris design has a evolving lineage that dates back some 40 years. The configuration has changed dozens of times over the years based on science fiction influences that has permeating movies and televison (the earlies...t; think of vessels of Star Trek, Lost In Space, Voyage to the Bottom of Sea, and cartoons like Fantastic Voyage of the '60s).Essentially it's a old childhood fantasy that is still kept alive by my capacity to sketch over the years.
