WNWP-TV Internet Television (http://wnwp.tv) is a media broadcasting entity that focuses on black produced, owned, and operated independent programming. We actively seek out new and exciting independent media to bring them together under one roof, Channel WNWP-TV. WNWP stands for Watch Nubians Wield Power. It affirms the notion that people of African descent are doing positive & progressive works and portraying positive & progressive social images. We want to give those endeavors a platform to grow and expand their reach amongst the Nubian (Global African) community and the world in general.
WNWP-TV Internet Television is an LLC (Limited Liability Company). We’ve been in low-level operation since July 1st 2011, streaming independent web programs of 30 minute to 60 minute lengths 24 hours a day produced by our Affiliate Program Producers. Recent statistics indicate that African Americans are spending more time on the internet and are the largest consumers of video media in the form of television. Also, African American spending power is expected to reach 1 trillion dollars by 2015. WNWP-TV finds itself in a very unique position, poised to dominate this expanding market while offering a powerful service to the global community.
WNWP-TV Internet Television exists in a uniquely fused industry between Broadcast TV/ Entertainment and Web-based Services. Our platform offers Live Streaming Video content, Video On-Demand services, and E-Commerce solutions. We transmit our streaming schedule via a Virtual Private Server online that can be accessed and manipulated from any computer by an operator with the correct login information. The live stream line-up is viewable by anyone with working internet and it’s free to register and watch all of our programs. Because our primary service is web-based, we have tremendous potential for growth amongst patrons who are looking for a fresh, unique, and rousing web video experience online.
