Aired 1/1989 to 5/1989. Hawk was so cool as a sidekick in Spenser for Hire, in his own show "A man Called Hawk" he was over the top exceptional. There was no buffoonery or hi-jinks or "Shaft like" grandstanding. Avery Brooks is the man! Too much time wasted on the shows opening with this clip.
