By my research, this is the first all-black cast sci-fi film dealing with a black female scientist and the monster in her basement. This film was released in 1940. This film was made for blacks by black producers, writers and actors. Since Hollywood won't make a good black movie for us. We should learn a thing or two from from our history and make our own. My comnpany Heroes Like Me Entertainment will release "The Flying Bullet: Peril of the Phoenix Planet" a sci-fi adventure in your home on DVD by June of 2011. This film will be support by us for us.
