The story: Graham & Brody are runaway slaves in colonial times. They are befriended and protected by Benjamin Franklin and guided by Benjamin Lay. Graham & Brody finds themselves kidnapped by Ben Franklin's evil son, who is a scientist. They are left for dead after being subjected to scientific experiments. But through those experiments they gain incredible abilities. Included in those abilities are stamina, jumping great distances,  enhanced strength. They are trained to fight by Ben Lay.

What I liked: The historical setting. Cool unique superpowers. The fact that some real characters are used in this fictional story like Ben Lay, and of course Ben Franklin.

What I didn't like: Not much. Although I'd like to see more storylines for the slaves in future stories.
