Shape Shifting, in my humble opinion is more than changing from a human into a beast. It's a shift in reality, in personality. In the old horror flicks (which I love) a woman or man is bitten and becomes a bloodthirsty (sometimes) sex-crazed beast. A man or woman is scratched and becomes a howling monster who just wants to kill, kill, kill.

Well I always thought shape shifters got a raw deal in the movies. After all, they didn't ask to be bitten or scratched... well most of the time anyway. And the wolf is my totem spirit. And Sister Moon my loving muse. So, I took a new approach to the genre. 

In my novels, changing means you tap into your spirit for good or evil. You pull strength you didn't know you had from within...
