While some planets are barren, somewhere in the universe planets are not. They have alien life, which has animals and even some that have evolved to sentients... or do they?

As a reader or a skeptic what forms of life do you find more believable. Where is the limit, and (for writing an emotionally statifying literary work) are there some forms of life you can't relate to?
