Shawn is an African-American who has honed his craft at numerous writing workshops and seeks to widen the Western Cannon with Afrosurrelism. 1) "The Hoodoo Nigger," was published by Quail Bell: http://www.quailbellmagazine.com/the-unreal/short-story-the-hoodoo-nigger 2) His story, "Jacob and The Owl," won the Mary Shelley Contest and was published in Rosebud Magazine issue #57: http://www.rsbd.net/NEW/index.php?option=com_linx&Itemid=61 3) Shawn received honorable mention for a short fiction contest in Ragazine magazine, where Sheree Thomas was guest editor. 4) "Nne," is featured in the special of the edition of SQ Mag: sqmag.com/2015/04/30/edition-20-nne-mother-by-shawn-frazier 5) Twice he was published in Flapper House Magazine: "How Emma Jean Crossed the River," in their #8 winter edition, and the "Shadow's Insomnia" can be found in issue #12. 6) Fred Patten anthology, What the Fox? Includes the short story, "The Lost Unicorn." 8) Middle House Review will be publishing "Plantation Meadows" "Spec Issue" of 2020
