The child of a Bultungin (WereHyena) and Werewolf, she was the third born into the pack. Her parents fell in love some years ago and were the keys to bringing together the two most powerful and warring sects of the McKenzie Clan and the Yena Tribe. The families have been at peace with one another since, forming a powerful sect that all other Mnyama/Therianthorpes have to answer to. Kenna, being born into royalty was looked down upon when she didn't change during her first stages of puberty. This being the sign of a "defective pup," her grandfather ordered her banishment. Her parents on the other hand pleaded with him and assured him that she was just a "runt," a slow bloomer. Indeed, Kenna was just that, a "runt." However, on the day of her transformation, it was revealed to her family that she was something much, much more. Being the child of two different Therianthorpes, Kenna's metamorphosis was supposed to turn her into a hybrid of both. Just like her older brother and sister. However, she didn't turn into a hybrid. Instead, she turned into what could only be described as a WereBeast; A True Mnyama. That day, she turned into a beast that no other family had the ability to turn into...a Chimera. A mythological beast that had no equivalents. Legends circulate through out the Therianthorpe clans and tribes that speak of this happening over a thousand years ago. Another born into the blood line that brought peace to everyone. Kenna was looked at as the second coming. She showed all signs as she turned into something that no other family could mimic and with that, it was thought that she could turn into all Therianthorpes documented. So far, she has only been able to turn into other Mythological beasts, those that she feels a "love" for or...a connection with. With there being other Therianthorpe tribes that want only war and no peace, rumor spread that assassins were paid to take her life. Since her family had an alliance with Amandla...they sent the girl there to stay, for protection. Once there, they enrolled her into Soaribahn High. Hopefully here, she can learn to harness her abilities and be the bearer of peace that the Mnyama world needs.
