Mihoshi Kuramitsu is character from the popular animé series Tenchi Muyo. Mihoshi is a celebrated detective from the Galaxy police, or at least she was until she was overworked and her performance dropped. Mihoshi is ditzy but comes through when it's important.Some animé fans question Mihoshi's "blackness". Kind of silly, because she's an alien. But for the sake of argument she looks almost exactly like Lisa Vannette from the animé Bubblegum Crisis, and Lisa is definitively Black. The director of the Tenchi Muyo series, Hiroki Hayashi also worked on Bubblegum Crisis, so...I don't think Mihoshi's appearance is coincidental.I'd cast Reagan Gomez for her.
