I might do this at home, but I think this is already a neat demo done for many a high school or even college introductory physics class.

I disagree on one point in the video: we do use superconducting magnets specifically for levitation in the semiconductor industry in a few of our processes that require it. There are also several bullet trains that use this feature of super-cooled metal, thereby inducing superconductivity. You are welcome to invent other uses.
